Jade 'Brouille' Glass

Jade Liqueurs®
is proud to
introduce a reproduction of the original French 'Brouille' glass, which
provides for a spectacular presentation when preparing an absinthe.
We've received a sizable request for these glasses after one was
featured in the main photo of the recent "Wired" magazine article
(October, 2005). Each lead crystal glass is hand-blown in Europe, and
each is engraved with the Jade Liqueurs®
seal, as well as "Jade
Absinthe" around the periphery of the dripper.
After a measure of absinthe (~1.5 oz or ~45ml) is poured in the glass, the dripper is packed with ice and placed atop the glass, to which approximately 3-4 oz (90-120ml) of cool water is added into the dripper. As the iced water slowly drips into the glass, the resulting display is nothing short of captivating, as the floating green layer of absinthe gives way to a turbulent louching cloud. When the clear floating layer of green absinthe disappears, you have the perfect drink.

Nouvelle-Orléans Grille
Description:
The
Nouvelle-Orléans Grille is cast in solid sterling silver,
and consists of an intricate floral design with cherubs, which matches
the label artwork for our distinguished Nouvelle-Orléans
absinthe®.
At the center of the piece is a hand-carved medallion which
represents the Jade Liqueurs seal. Each casting undergoes additional
hand detailing that results in an exquisite piece, suitable for the
most discriminating collections. This grille is designed to suspend a
lump of sugar inside of larger absinthe glasses. The
Nouvelle-Orléans Grille is also offered in solid 18 karat
gold (please inquire). Each piece is made to order, so please allow 2-3
weeks for delivery.
